1. The Seashell House –Casa Caracol

Built in 1994, architect Eduardo Ocampo built a house for his brother Octavio Ocampo, a famous painter. Inspired by mountains of seashells all around him, he built a gated property located in Isla Mujeres, Mexico. The world famous Seashell house is one of a kind. Located on a cliff side of the tiny island allows for maximum privacy with easy access to the most beautiful beaches and rest of the Island. Much like the exterior, the interior design re-enforces the “seashell” concept. Made up of tiles and shells the private bath compliments the setting of the smaller rounder shell. The taller shell houses a sitting area, kitchenette with all the essentials. The rounded staircase lead the way to the master bed with a balcony overlooking the beautiful Caribbean Sea.  The seashell house is the perfect escape.

2. In town Treehouse

Set amongst tree and minutes from the downtown, the secluded treehouse offers the ideal urban retreat. Subject to innumerable articles, blogs and features, the property provides for an intimate, simple and calming getaway for two.  Connected by rope-bridges, the treehouse is complete with a living room, bedroom and outdoor deck. Overlooking and acre of lush woods, the living room is furnished with antiques including 80-year old butterfly-filled windows.  The double bed is fitted with cozy and organic linens from parachute. Originally renovated for personal use by local craftsmen, the houses combine traditional style with comfort. The elasticity of the forms, the use of local techniques, the built in beds and the antique furniture together with modern amenities give the complex a sense of sophistication. The terrace expands on different levels on the rims of the caldera offering a sensational view of the volcano.

4. Trullo of 1800

The intimate compound of Trulli of the 1800 is located in Cisternino, in a typical farmyard in the middle of the Itria Valley. Recently restored according to the tradition of the masters Trulli craftsmen, the architecture maintains an untouched original appearance adding value to classic architectural elements like the stone arches.

The compound is away from the congestion and the busy city life and offers a vacation surrounding unimpaired nature and the beauty of the Puglia region. Strategically positioned between Bari and Brindisi, highly cultural and historic places are easily accessible. The intimate yet welcoming atmosphere is a result of the 3 cones, 1 lamia and 1 alcova that make up the structure of the Trulli.

5. Urban Oasis

The Urban Oasis is a spectacular vintage Greystone located in the historical renowned Hoyne ave – Wicker Park (Ukrainian Village, Chicago). Sitting on a beautiful street, the interiors reflect the artsy reputation of the park. Decorated with standalone chairs and colorful patterns, the apartment follows the “urban trend”.

6. Designer apartment

True to its name, the Designer Apartment features a contemporary convertible sofa bed, white Carrera coffee tables and lounge chair, along with other carefully selected contemporary and retro design objects. A 15 minutes’ walk from the downtown Prague, the apartment windows face the inner garden to provide for natural light and relaxing tranquility.

9. Khandaka Heritage Haveli
