Step 1: Antoniolupi Design

A well-designed bathroom would not be complete without Antoniolupi. This Downtown Design exhibitor’s products are innovative and adaptable, and are designed by leading architects from around the world.  The Silenzio sink (pictured) comes with the option of LED lighting and a sculptural design that perfectly integrates – and almost disappears- into the wall.  Silenzio revises the traditional bathroom space by providing a fusion between past functional designs and future evolutions. This piece and more will be showcased at Downtown Design 2015.

Step 2: Grohe

All of Grohe’s products have been designed to contribute to a perfect water experience; so naturally, a well-designed bathroom cannot existwithout it.  The Grohe Grandera in Rose Gold is a free-standing, floor-mounted bath that provides incredible flexibility when it comes to planning your bathroom. Besides letting you decide exactly where you want to place it, you can also choose from three different colours and combine it with a whole range of similar bathroom accessories.  This convenience is matched by Grohe’s SilkMove technology, which allows smooth running, accurate temperature control as well as prevents an unnecessary heating and wastage of water. Step 3: Hansgrohe

Hansgrohe is a must in any modern bathroom. First established 110 years ago, their investment in innovation has contributed to their current success. The new state-of-the-art Select bathroom collection is the first in the industry to introduce operation at the touch of a button. The RainMaker Select overhead showers add an extra element of comfort and luxury, with its simple push-button operation that moves away from traditional twisting knobs. 

Step 4: Kohler

Downtown Design exhibitor Kohler is celebrating 140 years of pushing the limits of design in bathroom fittings. The Veil wall-hung toilet is the perfect solution to clean, space-saving design. With its concealed tank and minimal footprint, Veil can save up to 12 inches of coveted bathroom space over floor-mounted toilets. Its clean, modern style fits beautifully with contemporary bathrooms. The tank and mounting hardware are out of sight behind the wall, whichhelps make the toilet look sleek and seamless. The raised bowl makes cleaning underneath it easy. It’s completely customizable – you choose the height you want to place it, how much water you want it to use in each flush and the colour finish you want it to have. It’s a must for any bathroom.

Step 5: THG Paris

Leading French manufacturer of luxury bathroom fittings and accessories THG Paris will debut a new collection at this year’s Downtown Design that redefines the concept of stellar bathroom design. Watch out for pieces from their Pomme collection: a range of sinks made together with partner Lalique where the sink handles are shaped like apples; the new classic Rose tap which was developed together with Daum Crystal, as well as an impressive piece which features handles made of Porcelain and Swarovski elements.
